  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Unknown -- Must Read! : Kimberly Quinlan has done it again! She is truly an amazing human being. I just received this book in the mail and have only scratched the surface, and I can not WAIT to delve in deeper. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from yp -- I am so excited to receive this book~! : I have been so grateful to Kimberley Quinlan's podcasts and Instagram posts. I might not have OCD, however, I do have mental compulsions and anxiety. I look forward to the benefits of more self compassion, leaning into fear and managing difficult emotions. Her compassionate, accepting and nurturing voice quells my own harsh inner voice and becomes my inner cheerleader and nurturer. As she always says with such encouragement and love, "It's a beautiful day to do hard things." ( Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Farmwife6 -- Amazing support to ERP : This book is incredible in highlighting the self-compassion practices that will entirely assist your success with ERP and managing OCD. As a patient with OCD and severe depression, learning self compassion from Kimberley through this book and her podcast has absolutely given me hope as I recover and the tools to love the parts of myself that OCD convinces me are vile, dirty, and shameful. A must have for anyone walking through a journey with OCD. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2021 )

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Lilliana -- MUST HAVE : This book is a must have in my OCD recovery journey!!!!! I am a huge fan of the Anxiety Toolkit Podcast that Kimberly Quinlan hosts so I knew that this book would exceed all of my expectations!! Self-Compassion can be the hardest to give oneself especially while struggling with OCD, Kimberly gives great exercises, tips, and practices to incorporate in your daily life. Although this book is specific to OCD, I find that people without OCD could very well benefit from this workbook. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Tim Wamsley -- Helping Therapists : I recently purchased this workbook to use with clients who struggle with OCD as I do not have much experience treating OCD. I’m very appreciative of the CBT, DBT, and ERP principles this book draws on and puts it into understandable terms for clients to understand what they are experiencing while working to give themselves grace and decrease the shame they experience.
