However, her publisher has done her an injustice by printing the book half the size it should be and as her other books have been. The font is very difficult to read because it is so very small. All would have been beautiful if the same layout had been printed on larger pages. I wish it were available on Kindle, even though these books don't translate well into that format, as I could at least enlarge it enough to read it on a screen. Some new recipes to ponder, but what I like the most is being able to see additional corners of the estate grounds that a visitor doesn't really get to explore and enjoy on a half-day tour up from London. Another WONDERFUL book for those who love to cook, love the changing seasons, love Highclere Castle and just plain love Nature. The author walks us through a year at Highclere using gorgeous photos, delightful sounding recipes, fascinating history of the grounds, and exquisite food photography. I have many of her other books and love them all. Lady Carnarvon does her homework and adds many historical references, as well as food and gardening facts that I found most interesting. This book is a worthy gift for the holidays, or just for yourself and your own coffee table. This book, and Christmas at Highclere top my list! ( Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2021 )
